Today is a very special day. It is my daddy’s birthday.
I am so grateful to have you in my life daddy. I am pretty sure you know how awesome you are, and I hope you know that thanks to you (and mommy) I have grown up with love, smarts, and a head-strong never give up kind of attitude. Through everything you have been there. I know you have and would give your life for me. I want you to know I am so thankful for your life. I am so thankful that God gave me such an amazing father.
I wish I could be home with you to make you something with blueberries for breakfast, and dessert that involves your favorite ice cream cake. Enjoy your day daddy, I love you so so so much!

This is so sweet! I love that you did a special post for him. I’m really close with my family too so it’s always hard being away from home on those special days. Luckily I’m home for most of them, otherwise I think I’d go crazy. I’m sure he misses you just as much as you miss him!
I always feel so bad because I am never home for his birthday anymore and I am always home for my moms. It is hard but I know he knows I am thinking of him!
